Brow Lamination

LACQUER BROW LAMINATION

LACQUER was created to bridge the gap and provide a specialized brow lamination system complete with customized ingredients and strengths which have been specifically formulated and balanced for use on brow hair. The LACQUER formula is designed to perfectly shape and set brow hair without over-processing while maintaining a PH level which remains gentle on sensitive facial skin.⁣⁣

Who can benefit from Lacquer Brow Lamination?

  • Anyone looking to improve the overall look of their brow.
  • People with Sparse Brows
  • People who are growing out their brows
  • Men
  • Those not ready to commit to Permanent Makeup
  • People with unruly, coarse brows
  • Those with stubborn natural hair growth patterns

The process is quite simple. It starts with the application of a lift cream, which moves hairs into a specific direction. Next, brows are brushed in the desired shape and set with a hair neutralizer to keep it in place. If desires, brows are then tinted to add fullness and—for added moisture—are finished off with a nourishing brow oil.

Contraindications for Brow Lamination include but are not limited to:

  • Psoriasis/Eczema
  • Recent Eye Surgery
  • Alopecia
  • Recent Permanent Make up (must be healed by 6 weeks)
  • Sunburn
  • Ultra-Sensitive Skin
  • Blood Thinners
  • Pink Eye
  • Scar Tissue in the treatment area.
  • Brow lamination is not recommend if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. There are a number of reasons including elevated sensitivity caused by hormones produced during pregnancy and after/during breastfeeding. Elevated sensitivity can trigger reactions and also inconsistent results. It would be best to wait of 3 months (12 weeks) post breastfeeding before having lamination.
  • Discontinue Brow growth serum for minimum of two weeks prior to treatment
  • Please discontinue any type of retinol, AHA, BHA, etc or prescription topical in your upper face for two weeks prior to undergoing the procedure.

LACQUER PRO TIP:

For best results, grow your eyebrow hair in (and avoid trimming) for 4 weeks so there is lots of hair to work with.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Lacquer Brow Lamination results will vary from client to client but in most cases last upwards to 8 weeks.

Once the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle, clients can repeat the procedure again.

I recommend waiting 8-12 weeks in between lamination appointments.

Patch Test

A patch test is always recommended 24-48 hours prior to the first treatment.
